Rice and Beans Preparation

Rice and Beans Preparation

Step 1: Start by parboiling the rice. Then, choose and parboil the beans. Ensure to wash them both and place them in separate dishes.

Step 2: Add 3 cups of rice to 2 cups of boiling water, then drain and set aside. Parboil the beans as well, then set them aside.

Step 3: Grind the 700 ML of tomatoes. Mix everything after adding 5 scotch bonnet peppers.

Step 4: Combine all the ingredients (salt, half a cup of chopped onions, and seasoning cubes) and parboil the chicken. Give the chicken ten to fifteen minutes to boil.

Step 5: After cooking the chicken, leave it aside. After the beans have been parboiled, transfer them to a cooking pot and boil them with just water and sliced onions for 30 to 40 minutes,

Step 6: Depending on the type of beans you are using. If you are cooking large white beans, 30 minutes should be okay. All you want is it nearly finished.

Step 7: Put your cooking pot on the stove and fill it with 250 ml of oil (use the same oil you used to fry the chicken, just dilute it).

After frying for a minute with half a cup of chopped onions, add the ground tomatoes and pepper. Add the store-purchased tomato paste (tin tomato) as well.

Step 8:  It should take about 15 to 20 minutes to thicken and lose its sour taste if you stir and fry it. Be sure to flip it constantly to prevent burning. After the tomato is fried, take it out and reserve half of it.

Step 9: Include the meat water or chicken stock. Include one spice cube, two cups of water, a teaspoon of curry, ginger, garlic powder, and salt to taste.

Step 10: Add the parboiled rice and precooked beans after tasting for salt.

Step 11: Add the remaining fried tomato and/or pepper that you removed before and stir everything together. Spread equally over the rice and beans to finish cooking; this will allow your dish to cook through without burning.

Step 12: Set a medium heat and cook, covered, for the next twenty to thirty minutes. Verify when the water has dried and the rice or beans have softened. This is the kind of stuff you ought to have.
