Step 1: Place the beans in a pot, add 8 cups of water, and start cooking. After the beans have simmered for about 30 minutes, add half of the chopped onions and bouillon powder to taste.

Step 2: Begin cooking rice in a different pot. Cook till done. Do not cook until it is mushy. It needs to be al dente.

Step 3: Blend the bell pepper, tomatoes, habanero pepper, and one onion, and leave aside.

Step 8: Place the pot over medium-low heat and allow to simmer for about 2 minutes. Then whisk and turn off the heat.

Step 9: Serve warmly.
