Ingredients for Chicken Pasta Milano

  • Pasta: A bow tie is preferable here, for this dish but any short noodles can also do.
  • Chicken: We are simply cooking this chicken up in the same pan as you will use for the sauce but you could also cook it on the grill, use precooked grilled chicken, or to make things even easier you can use rotisserie chicken.
  • Mushrooms: This gives them an amazing flavor. White or baby Bella work. These are also first sauteed in butter.
  • Butter: It is one of the essentials needed for cooking the mushrooms. Olive oil can be used instead.
  • Sun Dried Tomatoes: I hereby, approve using the kind packed in oil and draining off as much of the oil as possible.
  • Garlic: It is good when using garlic in pasta.
  • Half-and-Half Cream: This can also help in creating a light creamy sauce. If you’d like a thicker sauce, use heavy cream.

How to Make Macaroni Grill Pasta Milano

Prepare all of the condiments and permit the spinach to dry and the tomatoes to drain just a bit before starting to cook. I’ve tried to wash and chop condiments as expected in this recipe and I can not keep up.

Fill the pot with water and boil as you cook the veggies, but wait to cook pasta.

Liquefy butter in a skillet using average heat temperature and add diced onions, sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Cover the skillet and cook until tender. I preferred using a garlic mincer, it is the easiest way to prepare the garlic.

The moment these condiments are all tender mix tomatoes and cook for some minutes until they are warm. Once these condiments are all tender you can add tomatoes and cook for a couple minutes until they are ready.

You can continue stirring up everything together and then mix the spinach. Since then the spinach wilts using large quantity of leaves of regular spinach is fine.

Spending a bit more to get young spinach may not be super perceivable in this recipe. However, if there is enough liquid in the skillet you can free it to drain. Notwithstanding, add pasta to the pot and cook to al dente according to the directions on the package.

Finishing the Sauce

Reduce heat to average low then add Alfredo sauce to the skillet and blend everything. Add pesto and blend it well again.

Shave fresh parmesan cheese on the top. Replace the lid with the skillet to expedite the steaming process if desired. Heat through thouroughly.

Cooked and drained pasta may be stirred into this skillet for serving is space allows in your skillet.

Spoon the sauce over the pasta as the adults crave more sauce and the kids tend to like more pasta with a little sauce.

Freeze any leftovers in an airtight container for about 2  to 4 days. Residue freezes well in an airtight container for up to 3 months. I prefer to freeze individual portions to defrost for a quick lunch as needed.

Bottom Line

Put cream, roasted garlic, pepper, salt, and parmesan cheese in food processor and puree. Place cream mixture in a sauce pan and bring to a boil.

Turn down heat and simmer for some minutes until sauce has thickened. Mix in mushrooms and tomatoes and add to the cooked pasta.
