1.3 cups rice

2. 2 cups beans

3. Fresh tomatoes 700ml

4. 3 Tablespoons canned tomatoes

5. 3 seasoning cubes

6. 1 cup of sliced onions

7. 1 kg Chicken

8. 1 teaspoon of powdered ginger

9. 1 teaspoon of powdered garlic

10. 500 ml Vegetable oil

11. 5 scotch bonnet peppers.

Step 1: Precook the beans and rice separately, then rinse and set them in separate bowls.

Step 2: Grind the tomatoes (700 mL). Add 5 Scotch bonnet peppers and mix everything.

Step 3: Season the chicken with 2 stock/seasoning cubes, 1/2 cup sliced onions, and salt. Allow the chicken to boil for 10–15 minutes.

Step 4: Fry the chicken and keep the stock aside.

Step 5: Precook the beans alone in water for 35-40 minutes.

Step 6: Fry the tomatoes in 300ml of vegetable oil.

Step 7: Add half a cup of sliced onions, saute for a minute, and then sauté the tomatoes.

Step 8: Stir as it fries. It should take around 15-20 minutes, then remove half once thoroughly fried.

Step 9: Add the chicken stock (meat water), 2 cups of water, 1 seasoning cube, salt to taste, and a teaspoon each of curry powder and ground ginger/garlic.

Step 10: Stir and bring to a boil.

Step 11: Taste for salt, then add the rice and beans. Stir in the remaining tomatoes and half a cup of diced onion.

Step 12: Cover the saucepan and cook for 35-40 minutes. Stir and serve.
