I could remember one thing: Sundays were my best days while growing up because of the idea that white rice and stew would be prepared by Mum after service.

1. 4 cups rice

2. 20 fresh tomatoes big

3. 5 cups vegetable oil

4. 10 fresh peppers big

5. 2 big onion bulb

6. 3 tablespoon curry

7. 7 cube Maggi

8. Salt

9. 1 tablespoon thyme

10. 3 pieces ginger medium

11. 6 cloves garlic

12. 300 g chicken meat

Cooking Instruction

1. Boil the rice with salt until is done and dry

2. Season meat very well to get the stock

3. When it is done, you could fry or grill the meat if you like

4. Empty the vegetable oil into a pot and place on heat

5. Throw in the sliced onions when the oil is hot

6. Pour the blended tomatoes into the pot and allow to cook for about 10 minutes

7. Pour in the stock and cook further

8. Add the seasoning cube, ginger, crushed garlic, curry and thyme

9. Cook for another 20 minutes

10. Add the meat and salt to taste

12. Your stew is ready.
